Another Boring Day, Cool Stories, Waste of Space, Closing Down

Hey guys, hope the ending of your week is great!  My day was alright, I had to go get a CT scan earlier, not sure the results but it was of my cervical spine.  Nothing is broken but just some other problems, nothing major.  Otherwise I didn't do much today, quite boring actually.  Just another of those and many more to go, it seems.  So, let me get into it!

Wrestling Day!  Meng or Haku, whatever you'd like to call him, is a legend of the business in a few different ways and stories of his life.  He is mostly known for his out of the ring antics but most of these are not his fault as he was just reacting to things happening around him.  There are so many good stories to pull from but I'll focus on two.  First one time while relaxing at a bar after a wrestling show with Bobby Heenan, the greatest manager in history, where he reached into a mans mouth and broke off his bottom teeth.  That takes some serious strength and I'm sure the guy had it coming for doing something stupid.  Meng had a reputation of fighting with cops and one time they were trying to get him to calm down by spraying him with pepper spray but this didn't affect him at all.  They finally did get him handcuffed behind his back when he said, "Is this it?", and snapped the cuffs.  Now cops will try to tell you that breaking cuffs is not possible but there were many people there to replay that story.  I could listen to the exploits of Meng for a long time.  Anyway, here is a list with a few other stories thrown in; https://bleacherreport.com/articles/628670-behind-the-ropes-wrestling-stories-and-backstage-fights-in-wrestling#slide9

I have talked about how I think the United Nations is a wasted thing before and this goes to show how inept they are.  The countries of East Africa are dealing with Biblical locust swarms and the agency at the U. N. that's supposed to help has not done much with this, kinda like they don't really care about East Africa or if they can grow enough food to eat while they sit up in ivory towers eating the finest foods.  Locust are so destructive and can destroy almost all the crops in the area, plus they reproduce really quickly so something needs to be done.  Hopefully the U.N. can step up and help the farmers around there, if not I'm sure the United States will get called in to fix the problem like always.  Here is the article I found this on; https://qz.com/africa/1836159/locusts-set-to-hit-kenya-east-africa-again-400-times-stronger/?utm_source=YPL&yptr=yahoo

Here is a list of 24 fast-casual locations that could close their doors for good following all this COVID-19 stuff happening.  The list kinda surprised me as a few of these I didn't think were still around like Roy Rogers and Quiznos.  I've never been to a Roy Rogers but have been to a Quiznos a long time ago in Columbia, I can still remember where it was.  There are only 5 that are in Columbia Missouri and I've been to them at least once.  It's kinda sad when a favorite food place closes down but the competition is hot in this market.  I assume there will be some other casualties when this crisis is all over, especially buffet style restaurants like Golden Corral or Chinese buffet places.  Here is that list; https://finance.yahoo.com/news/27-restaurant-chains-disappear-235352164.html

Well, that's all for me tonight.  I really hope that all of you have a great weekend, stay safe and take care!
