Sunburied, Proven Conspiracy Theory, Job Losses, Just Horrible

Hey all, I hope your Thursday is going great!  So my day was alright, didn't do much except push around for about 2.5 miles going up a few big hills.  That really wore me out but it was such a nice day here, the high was 70 and not a cloud in the sky.  It's supposed to be even nicer tomorrow and this weekend it's going to get up to 80.  Man, I got really red today as I wasn't planning on staying out that long in the sun but stuff happens.  So anyway, time to get to it!

Conspiracy Day! This is a short article talking about the deadliest and costliest conspiracy theory in American history, the reason for war against Iraq.  At first we all believed the Bush administration that there were WMDs in Iraq and didn't know any better.  But a little more snooping found out that Saddam had given up his goal of owning nuclear weapons after the Israelis bombed his nuclear reactor in 1981.  At that point he knew that there was no way the world would sit by and let him has his toys and so he stopped pursuing them, at least in a more conventional sense, he did try to buy nuclear material that was floating around from the fall of the Soviet Union but, as far as we can tell, never got his hands on them.  After we found out that the reason for the war in 2003 was a lie all along, they tried to push the fact that Saddam had a meeting with Osama bin Laden, that would have never happened because the men were ideological opposites.  Colin Powell probably got hurt the most from this when he went to the U. N. to give a passionate speech about why we needed to invade Iraq, the man could have become President at some point but this sort of ruined that.  Crazy how things like that work out.  Here is that article; https://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2016/10/09/the-deadliest-costliest-conspiracy-in-us-history

This lockdown is tearing the country up with all these people going on unemployment because of the economy mostly stopping because of COVID-19.  The number is now over 30 million people that have filed so far and it will continue to go up as some states start to open things back up.  I know that here my neighbor started going back to work this week before the state is set to open up on Monday, with some restrictions.  I'm glad that some things are going to get back to normal at the start of next week but I have a feeling we are not out of the woods yet.  Here is an article on the states most affected; https://finance.yahoo.com/news/coronavirus-job-losses-hit-these-7-states-hardest-153931228.html

This story is just terrible, some people just need not walk the Earth and this guy is one of them.  A man in Indianapolis shot a mail carrier because she wouldn't deliver mail to his house.  The post office said they sent two letters stating why mail was not coming to the home, because he had a viscous dog that needed to be put up before any mail could make it there and he did not comply.  So while the young lady was out taking mail on her normal route they got into some sort of argument and he shot her, all because he couldn't do one simple thing.  Here is the article; https://www.wthr.com/article/possible-motive-uncovered-shooting-death-indianapolis-letter-carrier

Well, that's it for me tonight.  I really hope you all have a great night or day, take care!
