Alright Day, Electoral College, Free Thinking, AOC in Trouble, Getting in Trouble
Hello there all, I hope your day is going well! My day was pretty good, I made it to the gym and had a good workout. That was the highlight of my day since I really didn't do anything of note really, I did help my friend with a few things but that was it. Things have been a little weird for me lately, as I talked about before there was a time just a little bit ago where I was waking up between 2 and 4 am and now I am waking up between 8 and 9:30 am. When I wake up that late I feel like a big part of the day has already passed me by, I like to wake up between 6 and 7, I normally feel better that way. I have been feeling pretty good when I wake up later though, so I guess I hope it doesn't change. Also, I have not had to use a cath right after waking up like I usually do, the other day I didn't use one for the first time until 12:30 or so but I never felt like I needed to go, I have been going before I leave out of the apartment. Feels a little strange. Oh well, I am different, as they say. So let me go on and get to it!
History Day! I am going to bleed this history topic into a modern one, I am wanting to talk about the electoral college and this history post will be the history of and the reason why we have it. As the article starts off, the electoral college was never a popular thing since the first days of the country, almost as much as the left hates it now. I have said it before and any smart person will know what the electoral college is for and why we do not use the popular vote to elect important positions like president. If we used the popular election of president then the big cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angles would make the decision on who would become president. Being someone from the middle of the country I know how that would divide the country and could possibly lead to something like a civil war. The vast majority of the larger cities are liberal while the more rural you are the more conservative you are as well. I, as a middle American, am more conservative but I do side with democrats on a few things, mostly social stuff and more conservative on more fiscal things. I feel that is how a lot of people from these rural areas are, unless you are just totally conservative. There have recently been bills added by certain democrats to get rid of the electoral college but I don't think any of them will pass the House because I think there are enough democrats that are smart enough to know how bad this could be for the country. Think of why someone like President Trump was elected, he visited the rural areas, he said he would help those people and Hilary stayed away from most of the states in the middle that are red now. It was almost like she forgot that we have an indirect system of choosing our president. The Democratic Party is at a crossroads but not too many are talking about it, certainly not the news media of CNN or MSNBC. There are socialists that are trying to take over the party right now and if they do then it could spell the end of the Democrat Party as we know it. They have been slowly creeping in, this never happens overnight. As I had talked about just above, they want to get rid of an institution that I would consider sacred, the electoral college, all because they lost the presidential election and their candidate won the popular vote. That was cause Hilary spent all her time talking to the big cities and not rural America. Now she did make a few appearances in the middle of the country but they were very short and she acted like she didn't want to be here. That is the main reason why she lost, it was cause she didn't have an answer to what anyone wanted in rural America and now that the socialists are trying to take over the party, then I think they can kiss a lot of support they did have from middle America away. Of course the bigger cities in flyover country will vote democrat because a lot of those people have been drinking the juice for a long time. I am just free thinking and those were my thoughts, enjoy!
So, just putting this out there. Didn't think of it till I heard it in a video by Emergency Awesome. There are 6 infinity stones and 6 original Avengers, does that mean anything? Tell me what you think and if this will make any difference in Endgame.
So, our favorite joke lately has been anything that comes out of the mouth of AOC, you know who that is, that socialist from New York. It looks like she might be getting in some trouble with campaign finance laws pretty soon. Some people, such as myself, are calling her a hypocrite because during her campaign she said she detested big money donors, those ones that usually decide who gets the big money but it looks like she was getting big money donations and actually sat on one of their boards. Honestly I hope this gets her in some really hot water and possibly gets her kicked out of the House of Representatives. I have gotten a little more pissed about this whole college admissions scandal, not sure why but the more I think of it the more it gets under my skin. I was able on my own to get into, what I think, is a pretty prestigious college and didn't need help from my parents. I hope that everyone involved that did something wrong gets punished as hard as anyone. Espcially the people that paid to get their kid in college, like Aunt Becky of Full House. I didn't realize how old she is since she was in that show during the late 80's and early 90's. Not sure about penalizing the kids that went to college but I am sure that the Loughlin girl that her mother paid to get into USC, since I guess she wasn't smart enough to get in on her own, should get into some sort of trouble since she came out and said she really didn't want to go to college and all she wanted the party lifestyle. She used her connections while at USC to boost herself and doing make-up videos on Youtube. I think that all her vids should be demonetized and her Instagram should be taken down. Also, have you noticed how all these people that have gotten caught so far are leftist, cheating is at the base of their platform. At least that's what I think, for whatever it's worth.
