Good Day, Ant-Man News, Food Comeback, Socialist Comeback?
Hello everyone, I hope you all are great today. So, my day was pretty good, did not get everything done I wanted to but that is most days. I only had to do one Uber ride today before I made enough money, I took a kid to work and then took his brother back to the house I picked that kid up at. He gave me cash so I just turned off my drivers app. So that was pretty good. I also sold some cards today and thought I should go buy a few packs. Think I am getting that fever again, getting some good sports cards. I decided I am not going to buy a new box until August, when a product I like is coming out. So, let me get onto it.
Marvel Day! One of the big things MCU that is out now is Ant-Man and Wasp, it is out for media people to watch it early. I watched a non-spoiler review from someone on Youtube that I trust not to ruin the movie for me. From everything I have seen or read, it is a really funny movie but there is not a lot of action, but that is not a bad thing for me. I like to laugh at a movie. It is said that there are some new tech that might come up later in the MCU, so that is promising. I will go watch this movie on the Thursday premiere showing and I will write a spoiler free review myself. Maybe one day I will be considered one of the "media people" so I can watch a movie early.
Some big news, at least to me. A food product is coming back that I really liked. It is Planters Cheez Balls, this is a very big cult favorite. This product has been gone since 2006 and I never understood why it was discontinued. This is a favorite thing to eat while watching movies or now you can binge watch shows on Netflix with them. It is supposed to come back on the first of July on the Amazon and Walmart websites and then it will get sprinkled over to grocery stores. I am pumped for this and they are also bring back the Cheez Curls by Planters also. This will be a great product rollout. It seems that the democrat socialist are making a comeback. A socialist candidate won her primary challenge against Representative Joe Crowley in New York. She was very shocked by the outcome of the primary. Now, I do not know this woman's positions on the issues but I do not think it is a good thing to elect a socialist, but this is New York. It seems as if the democratic party is split on a few different lines. First you have crazy maxine waters go out and rile up her few supporters to harass any President Trump supporters or workers. And now this, if something like this continues then it could split the democrat party and make them lose in November to try to retake the Senate and the House. Guess we will have to wait and see what transpires from all of this in a few more months but it is going to be interesting. One of the other take away from the article I read, the top three democrats in the House are all above the age of 70. We need some new blood in there, these older members are holding this country back. I know that it is not just the democrats but the republicans as well have older members. Maybe this signals a wave of younger people running for political office, be it man or woman. I hope so, this country is already backwards and we need to go forwards.
