Good Machines, Dedication, Another Threat Out There, Rant on Movies and TV With No Wheelchairs

Hey there all, hope your week is ending great!  So my day was alright, didn't get to do as much as I was thinking I'd be able to do but that's alright, it'll get done sometime.  One thing I like about the gym I joined is that they have some good equipment, they have Hammer Strength machines that you use plate weights for.  The only problem you have with that is sometimes people don't rack their weights when they get done but that's just a small thing.  Anyway, let me get into it!

Wresting Day!  I've talked about quite a few different stories here but I found a list of 25 and while I have talked about a few there are more that I haven't talked about yet.  The first one I'll talk about is someone who took their character very seriously, Nelson Simpson aka Nikita Koloff.  He changed his name to Koloff, learned and spoke mostly always in Russian, changed his birth certificate and he didn't drop the Russian accent for two years after retiring.  That's dedication.  Another good one is when Raven and Perry Saturn set up a slip and slide in a hotels hallway with a few hookers.  This didn't go over so well with hotel security and the pair were obviously kicked out and told not to return to the establishment.  I'm sure that was a hell of a situation.  Here is a list of the other stories there; https://www.thesportster.com/wrestling/top-25-hilarious-stories-involving-wrestlers/

If it's not one thing then it's another, even though we are dealing with a pandemic at this time it is now mosquito season and there is a terrible disease being carried by those little guys.  What they are carrying is something called EEE, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, and can cause a wide range of problems.  There are a few things that can keep mosquitos away, one thing I have heard before is they don't like to bite people that eat bananas and it can help if you take a B vitamin complex.  The lowly mosquito is the largest killer animal on Earth, man has nothing on it.  Just like how most all wars had a larger body count from diseases than combat.  Anyway, here is that article; https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/mosquito-borne-illness-kills-over-192300145.html

Just a little rant here.  I am tired of seeing movies or television shows that do not represent people in wheelchairs.  There is around 2.7 million people in wheelchairs in this country, we need to be more shown.  If we are shown more in pop culture then people will be more accepting of us.  I would volunteer to be that person in a wheelchair in whatever projects there is to get wheelchairs more exposure to the wider populace.  Get something done with this!

Many people just have to know when we and the world will end, most of the time they are wrong as we have seen throughout history.  There have been countless attempts that have obviously failed and there are still some more supposed endings coming.  This list from Listverse is from December 21st, 2012, that was when people wrongly thought the Mayans had predicted the world would end.  In fact the ending of their long count calendar was just that, the end of a calendar and the start of a new one.  So a lot of people were wrong about that one also.  Here is a list of 10 other ones that we might want to watch out for; https://listverse.com/2012/12/21/10-doomsday-predictions-beyond-2012/?utm_source=more&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=direct

That's it for me tonight.  I really do hope that you have a wonderful weekend, take care and stay safe!
