Remember Today, Something Different for Doom, Local Shaking, New Home?
Hello everyone, I hope your day is better than expected! First off, I want to say never forget what happened this day and I hope that you found some solace no matter what it was, hopefully something put a smile on your face today even though we remember all those people killed on 9/11/01. Together we are stronger! So anyway, my day was good. Started off with a good, hard workout today. I also learned that Columbia is getting another location for Planet Fitness, on the southside in part of the old Gerbes there. Of course they weren't going to take up the whole old store since it was so huge but they are taking about half or so. I also talked to the head manager about getting some new equipment in, a heavy bag for boxing and a rickshaw machine. A rickshaw machine is something we had at Rusk and I really like using and I had to explain how they worked but she wrote it down so she could talk to the higher ups. Hope it goes through. That's really all I did that was exciting today. Time to get into it!
MCU Day! It seems like Marvel is going to do something different with Doctor Doom than what the previous incarnations of him were in the Fantastic Four movies. He was always the villain in those movies but the FF have some other great villains they could use first instead of Doom. Somebody like the Mole Man, which fits since he was their first comic villain to face off against. I think Doom is big enough he could be introduced in an Avengers movie or something like that. Doom has fought against pretty much everyone in the comics so it shouldn't be too hard to find source material for him to be in anyones movie. Maybe even Dr. Strange since Doom does use magic as well as science to get ahead. I just cannot wait to see what the MCU have in store for villains like Doom, Galactus and Annihilus. Some kinda local news, at least local to Missouri. There was a small earthquake last night that hit around Bonne Terre, a little south of Festus, MO. It will bring up all those fears of the big one hitting here, like the ones that hit back in the 1820's in that same area but farther south around by the boothill. That one was strong enough to ring church bells in Philly and made the mighty Mississippi River run backwards for a week. Hope that one stays away forever, we don't need that kind of destruction or the middle of the country will look like a war zone. So, another exo-planet was found that could support life. They say that this world might have water on it, one of the things life needs to survive, that is if it is like us in any way. The name of this place so far is K2=18B, not a real inventive name but that's just a placeholder name until something better comes up.
