Good Day, Big Ones, Short Take, Stupid Fights
Hey there everyone, hope your Thursday is going well! Or we can call it Thorsday, as this day was named after the God of Thunder, Thor. Anyway, my day is good and just got done watching a movie not too long ago. I watched Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, I still hold that movie at the bottom of the pack when talking about favorite Star Wars films. Of course there were good things done in the movie, like the creation of the different alien and other creatures. Anyway, the only other thing I really did today was go to the gym, like normal and had a good workout. Only thing really different was that on my left side of my back there was a spot that was really hurting. The spot was mostly out of my reach and felt like if someone would have hit me there something would have popped back into place. That pain went away after about 3 hours or so and doesn't really hurt now. So, time to get to it!
Now this had to take a huge pair of...whatever you want to put there. Besides people trying to shoot you on both sides, there is always the threat of stepping on a landmine, the land is peppered with them all over. Late on Wednesday night a North Korean soldier crossed over to the south through the DMV, probably the most fortified strip of land in the world. From early reports the man is fine but what about his family back in the North? From what I have read and heard if you defect successfully then you family you leave behind will be tortured and sent to the many work camps to be worked to death. Not sure if that is what still goes on because I heard this years ago but if true then he just signed their death warrants. That is something that should be looked into and if they are a member of the United Nations then we should be able to send some inspectors into the country. But then again the U.N. is pretty much worthless so don't expect them to do anything proactive. I will admit that I really don't know who Ellen Pompeo but I just want to talk a little bit about what she said on Twitter that riled a lot of people up and are now calling what she said as racist. Again, that word is being thrown around way too much by people who don't know what it really means. What she said was about Kamala Harris and what she was doing during the democratic debate last night. She was referring to Harris going after Joe Biden all the time, saying about the strategy of Harris, "Because she is overconfident and believes that he is her only competition". I have no problem with that, she was just pointing out what was going down at the debate. I have no clue how saying that about a black woman is racist at all, she is just talking about Biden being at the top of most polls out there and how Harris needed to go after him more than the others. I didn't watch the debates, I have better things to do with my time and sanity so I stayed away. These little cat fights are funny to watch as the democrats are just tearing themselves down. Don't know how they think they can win in 2020.
