Good Day, Dark Phoenix Trailer, Worst Kind of People, Funny Politics
Hey everyone, it's the end of the week and I hope things are going great for you! First off, sorry I didn't write last night. I met my parents up in Moberly and didn't get home till after 8 and was tired so I went to sleep. I am pretty tired again tonight so I will be cutting this a little shorter than I would like so I can get some sleep. So my day went pretty well, I made it to the gym for the fifth day this week and thinking about taking the weekend off maybe. Think I had pulled my right triceps today using the bands, I over extended one time and pulled that muscle a little. Doesn't feel like it is hurt really bad, just tweaked it some and it needs some rest even though that is hard to do sine I use those muscles just pushing the chair. Well, let me get to it!
Yesterday or the day before a new Dark Phoenix trailer dropped and this was the best one I have seen so far. The CGI does look much better than the previous ones but I am not on board with the whole Scott/Jean relationship, Cyclops and Jean Grey who becomes the Phoenix force. It does give you a better idea for how the movie is going to play out but I am still unsure who Jessica Chastain is playing through the movie. Is she just a Skrull, some unknown human like alien or is she going to be introduced as Lilandra of the Shi'ar Empire. I think it would be cool if she is Lilandra but it would also suck since this being the end of the Fox X-Men universe to introduce a character as important as that this late in the game. But I am going to add a video of Emergency Awesome breaking things down with this trailer and talking a bit about what Kevin Feige wants to do with the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This was one of the worst cases I ever seen and when they were sentenced today I was happy but still sad for the children. I am talking about the Turpins out in California that tortured, starved and shackled their 12 children and even older ones up to 29 years old and children as young as 2. I feel terrible for all of them, it is going to be so hard to get their life together, it will take a long time but I have faith that they will recover some to a more normal life. They only let them bath once a year. The oldest one at 29 was only 82 pounds, showing how little they feed the kids. Those kids did not develop normally and on the radio we heard the 17 year old whose voice still sounds like he was about 9 years old. I cannot believe there is this type of evil in the world, so horrible, I have always said that one of the worst things you can do is steal the innocence from a child and that was exactly what these terrible people did. Now they are going to live out the rest of there days shackled but not in the same manner they put them kids through. They will be treated way to well and deserve far worse for what they have done. I don't even think death is good enough for them and they should be made to suffer for what they did. They probably will not last long in prison when people start to figure out who they are, they call that prison justice and I guess that's the best I can hope for. Sometimes politics can be funny but it seems that Ukraine is taking that literal with their next presidential election. On Sunday the people of Ukraine will go to the polls to elect a new leader and their choices are the current president who has been in office for 5 years and a comedian who played the countries president on a comedy show. His name is Volodymyr Zelensky and looks like he will win this Sunday because the populace looks to move in a new direction and away from these old political dinosaurs and have some new blood in office. Ukraine is looking for a good turn-around since it has been ranking as one of the poorest countries in Europe and hopefully this helps out. I think it would be cool to have a comedian become your president, maybe that's what we need, kind of like the premise of that Robin Williams movie years ago.
