Interview Day, X-Men Must Wait, Crazy Bernie

Hey there all, hope your day is going great!  My day went well, I had that interview today and think I did pretty good at it but I always think I did good and what I think doesn't count.  But anyway, I will find out next week if I get the job.  It would be good to have a part time job, be back out there among other workers and making a little extra money.  We all need extra money, never seems to be enough of it to go around.  Guess we could be like Zimbabwe or Venezuala and print as much money as we can and cause such hyper-inflation to where we have to take a wheelbarrel of cash to buy a loaf of bread at the store because it costs so much.  There was a famous picture I remember of where there were literally thousands of bills lining the streets and clogging up the drains in town somewhere, that's what socialism gets ya.  Wise up everyone and don't say it will be different this time because that is what everyone said before all the other times and you see what happened.  If people were not killed then their money became worthless or both.  But anyway, I also had a good workout even though I didn't stay too long.  And then I watched the boys for a few hours, that was alright and looks like I might need to do that most every day, at least for awhile.  So, let me get to it!

MCU Day!  So the biggest news that has come out about the MCU is about the X-Men, according to Kevin Feige we will not be seeing the mutants anytime soon.  Basically saying in an interview that the people at Marvel already had a 5 year plan before the Fox deal went through.  I can understand that but I still think there will be a few end credit scenes that have the X-Men included somehow.  Ether it is just the mention of mutants or us seeing one of them.  I think that would be great.  Now he did not say anything about the Fantastic Four but I am sure they are about the same as the X-Men but I think it would be easier to introduce them since you don't really have to do a big thing about what mutants are and how they function in this universe.  Since the FF are more human it would be easier to bring them up, especially Reed Richards as you can show him as a genius much like Tony Stark.  I cannot wait to see how they handle all these new characters, it will be great with Feige at the helm.  Oh, almost forgot about Deadpool.  From what was mentioned by Bob Iger, who is the boss of Feige, said something about bringing Deadpool up pretty early and I think that is a great idea since the two live action movies he has done were so popular that they need to jump on that while they can.  So be on the lookout for a Deadpool movie within the next two years.

It seems that Bernie Sanders is really going all in on the whole "Medicare for all" pipe dream that some of the more socialist democrats like.  He recently came out with a new plan for this new "healthcare" initiative.  But leaders from his own party are not keen on the idea of it, like Nancy Pelosi, thought it would be a really cold day in hell when I had the same thought as she did.  But our mutual thought ends with not liking "Medicare for all" as she thinks that the Affordable Care Act should be tweaked to work better.  But this was the lady that said all those years ago that this was basically perfect legislation and that we had to pass it to find out what is inside the bill.  That means that she didn't read it or, as they all do have a staffer read it and tell them what to say.  The ACA was such a large bill that nobody read it before it was even voted on in Congress, I have a serious problem with that.  At least by having a staffer read it and write a report on what it is for the Congressperson you have some idea if you will support it or not and if the bill is actually, you know, legal.  As has come out since the ACA was passed, a few parts were not actually legal as healthcare is not a right that is listed in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights at all.  You might say, well they had no idea about how healthcare and insurance would evolve.  I agree, no person could see how crazy things had gotten with insurance but that doesn't change the fact that healthcare or insurance is not a legal right even though there are those democrats out there that think it is a inherit right.  It is not but that is an argument for another day, today is about how "Medicare for all" is a bad thing.  First off, I can say from experience that Medicare is not that great and to make it work better is going to take many billions of dollars and a lot of time.  With that it should tell you that this is not something that can work.  And then you have places like the Government Accountability Office saying that this plan would raise health care costs to around $25 to 35 trillion dollars a year and people like Sanders do not have or have not mentioned how we are going to pay for it.  It goes back to the whole idea thing, at first it sounds good but in practice it is untenable.  That is the same way with most things, they sound good but things do not work out when you actually do them.  There has to be and there is a much better way to fix the health care of the United States and "Medicare for all" is not it.  I just wish they would start listening to each other and work together on Capitol Hill but that seems like way too much to ask of those people, so that means that we need to vote in new leadership.   Here is an article on that whole Bernie thing; https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bernie-sanders-relaunches-medicare-amid-042447910.html

Well, that is all for me tonight.  I hope all of you have a great day or night, take care!
