Kid Day, Mystery Solved, Social Medicine, New Trailer
Hey everyone, I hope you are doing great today! My day has been alright, really didn't do a whole lot today. I had a doc appointment this morning pretty early, at least early for me at 9:45 and I woke up early for it. I came home and lay down for a bit and then I went to go help my friend who is moving and was watching her littlest kid and then I picked up the older one from preschool. Watched them a lot longer than I thought I would as they are still here at 8:15 pm, I picked up the little one at 2 pm. I have not been able to do the stuff I normally do to get ready to write so I will just figure it out on the fly tonight, more than usual. Also, this post will go out a little later than usual. So overall it was an alright day so I guess I should just go on and get to the good stuff!
History Day! I am sure that some of you are aware that I am a skeptical person from some of my writings in the past. There are all kinds of pages out there that talk about how mysteries from history have been solved but I found one site that didn't go into a lot of detail about how the mystery was solved. Especially one about the Nazca Lines, those have always bothered me. The only explanation they give is a drought caused by deforestation. Not good enough for me but I will hold off until there is a better explanation. Not sure I believe this one either, it is about the hieroglyphs found in Egypt that shows a helicopter. I think it is very clear that is what it is, a helicopter. If you have not seen it wait till you do see it. They try to explain it away as corrosion of the hieroglyphs, I don't really buy that. Here is a little thing I heard about on the radio. Mick Jagger had to cancel shows for the Rolling Stones because he is needing to have an operation, can't remember what it was. The big thing I think is that he is getting it done in New York, not Britain which is where he is from and can get it done for free, not Canada or Cuba or anything like that with their socialist medicine but here in America. How much does that say about socialized medicine?
