Slow Day, Weapons Plus, Iran Trouble, Conspiracy?
Happy Friday everyone, I hope the end of the week is going great! Sorry I did not write last night, by the time I got done playing Madden it was too late for me to do some writing. So, sorry about that but I am here for today! I had a later start today, didn't start stirring around until about 10:30 am or so and made it to the gym around 11, I have been having a late start the last few days, what has to do with that is the weather as it has been a lot cooler here lately. At night it has been getting down into the low 50's, for the middle of June that is cold. Around here we are used to getting 90 plus weather this time of year but it has been getting cooler and raining some so that is a great recipe for people to drag around. The last few days I have been wanting to go back to bed after waking up within an hour and have felt a little more lazy. Hopefully the temps start getting back to normal for me, maybe I can be a little more motivated. I was even able to get a nap yesterday, haven't gotten a nap throughout the day in quite a while. I have even been nodding off while on the computer a few times and did once while writing this paragraph. So, let me go on and get to it!
MCU Day! Late last night or early this morning, Marvel sent out a tweet that had fans all worked up and was very cryptic, at least until you really pay attention to it. The tweet starts with some Roman numerals, II, IV, V, VI, IX. The numerals don't mean much until after you click on the link and you then learn that Marvel will be putting out a comic on the Weapons Plus program, hopefully recounting the history of said program and who all was involved. The most famous of these is of course Wolverine, who is weapon X or 10 and the next one might be Captain America who is designated as weapon I or 1. Even though there are, I think, 13 different, "weapons", only about five are remarkable in the comics. Captain America, Wolverine, Nuke, Deadpool and Fantomex. We have already seen Cap on the big screen and we have seen a version of Wolverine in the Fox X-Men movies along with Deadpool in his own movie but Nuke and Fantomex probably will not be showing up for a long time if at all. To bring this back to the start of this, the cryptic tweet was promoting a comic coming out starting on July 10th called Weapon Plus +. I would like to see certain aspects of the Weapons program in a movie, at least in a flashback maybe. It seems like something is going to get started over there in the Middle East, especially the way that Iran is going about things. I think Iran will regret starting a war with the United States of America and her allies. There is a video of an Iranian boat unloading an unexploded mine to use in the attach on two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. It is clear evidence that Iran is trying to disrupt oil shipping in and out of the gulf and should be treated as an act of aggression towards America and needs to be dealt with or otherwise they will keep on doing this. Iran needs to be taught a lesson and it seems they are pushing for that lesson to be taught sooner rather than later. I would say, wait and let's get all the facts before we jump to conclusions as this could be another Gulf of Tonkin incident but there is video proof that Iran did this, the English are coming out and saying that it is clear that Iran is responsible for the attacks. Britain will not unilaterally declare war with Iran without backing for the United States. Something needs to be done or Iran will create so much chaos in the strait that no oil will be able to be taken from there for foreign ports. Here is something to get the conspiracy theorists running with an idea, something a team from the University of Arizona found recently released, a photo allegedly showing the Star Trek Fleet logo on the surface of Mars. To some it might "prove" that humans have been to Mars before and they were big Star Trek fans. I am sure that anyone who goes to Mars would be at least somewhat of a Star Trek fan but I am sure there is a simple, stupid explanation to this happening. It was probably a rock that moved or something dumb like that.
