Good Day, My Fault, Funny Stuff, Calm Down, Dropouts
Hey there all, hope your Monday is going great! It's been a pretty good day, didn't do a whole lot different than usual. I did make it to the gym and had a good arm workout, especially on my forearms. So I'm really tired and going to get to it!
Star Wars Day! So I guess I was a little confused on a few things about this new Star Wars stuff that was brought out recently. I knew that Project Luminous was going to be only a publication thing with books and comics and stuff but I thought the High Republic was the era for the new movies coming in 2022. Guess I just got a little confused, it happens when you get older. I was planning on reading what I can of the new era of Star Wars as it sounds great with a new type of villain. The villains will not be the Sith this time as they are in the background gaining power. Maybe we will get a little bit about what is going on. The coolest thing is going to be a timeline of events that will sync up with the Skywalker Saga. This was a funny article, it has to deal with how millennials admit to not knowing how to do tasks around the house such as screw in a lightbulb or fix a cabniet door. I guess it isn't too surprising since when I was in college 10 years ago most of the guys didn't know how to change a tire or change their own oil. It has gotten pretty ridiculous with these kids being lazy and not learning how to do something as easy as screw in a lightbulb. I ask for help with lightbulbs but I'm height challenged from the wheelchair, so I have an excuse. So this coronavrus is getting bigger, there are people in America that are getting it and not having any contact with a person that had been to China at all. Basically they are unsure how it is spreading. I also want to let people know, I'm sure you have heard this but I wanted to say it again for everybody, those masks that people are wearing do not protect you against coronavirus. Plus, the mask that people are wanting to get their hands on, I think it's called the N95 mask, you need to make sure it is fitted on the way it is supposed to be. I do think that there are some people that are hyping it up a little too much. Just wash your hands and stay away from people that are coughing too much, especially if they don't smoke. A few democrats have decided to do the right thing and back out of the race. Actually there have been three that have decided to stay home, first is Tom Steyer, Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar have decided they didn't have what it takes to win the nomination. I know I have heard that Amy is going to support Biden, who I think is going to get a boost in support from the three that dropped out of the race. In other news, another democrat of a different stripe is stepping down from what he has done for a very long time, Chris Matthews. He is an MSNBC hack and I'm personally glad to see him go.
