Health Update, All About Pumpkins, Medicare For All Problems, Finally Gone

Hey there all, I am back!  Hopefully I won't be going back to the hospital anytime soon but we will see if they took care of it this time.  I'll explain it as best I can.  On Friday I gave my first sample and it was full of blood, same with the second sample.  It took about a full day to stop bleeding coming from that area.  I didn't have an elevated temp like I did last time, the highest was a little over 99 so nothing that great.  My blood pressure did get up, the highest was 166/104 but I think most of that was because of the pain.  I had a good medical team but didn't really see them until Monday since I went in on Friday and didn't make it upstairs until about 8:30 pm that day after getting to the ER at around 2.  Not the longest that I've been in the ER but it was a while.  My stay this time was pretty lame compared to others I have had in the past.  One thing that was really weird is that the last 4 times I have been to the hospital my urine cultures grew different things each time.  Used to I only had pseudomonas grow from my samples but now it seems to be branching out.  The antibiotic they gave me is pretty common and they said it is susceptible to what grew in bladder.  The one thing that tipped me off that something wasn't right was that my urine had a very strong smell of rotten eggs, didn't think that was normal.  They said that it was a good thing I came in when I did because if I waited a day or so it could have been pretty bad.  It is good to pay attention to your body, you never know what could happen.  I just have bad luck with this stuff and it's going to happen from time to time with me, just have to get used to it.  Anyway, let me go on and get to it!

History Day!  Figured this would be festive for what is right around the corner, Halloween.  That holiday that dentist love because they get so many new patients.  This may not have been a long story but I thought it was pretty cool.  The Jack O'Lanterns comes from Irish myth about a fella named Stingy Jack.  It all started when Jack convinced the Devil to turn into a coin that he kept in his pocket next to a cross and because of this the devil could not change back to his regular form.  Jack kept tricking him until he passed.  God would not let a person like Stingy Jack into heaven and the Devil kept his word and didn't claim his soul so Jack roamed the Earth with a burning coal in a carved turnip and that is how we got our tradition of carving pumpkins.  Since pumpkins are native to America they worked better than turnips and squash for us.  It's a pretty fun little story to read all of it, I just gave you the quick version.  The whole thing can be read here; https://www.history.com/news/history-of-the-jack-o-lantern-irish-origins

The socialists pipedream, Medicare for All is never going to happen.  They, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders and the like, are starting to figure out that taxing the wealthy in this country would not pay for it, not even for one year.  They would have to raise the taxes on the middle class, which is political suicide.  What they would probably really like to do is just take the money from the ultra wealthy in this nation but that would only fund the program for a few years, maybe.  It is estimated to cost around $28 to $32 trillion over 10 years.  I think that number is a little low but what do I know about macro-economics.  This is not something that can be done easily, it will take a huge amount of work and sacrifice.  Let's see what the plan is in about 10 years when maybe some conservatives are on board.  Here is the article that started this; https://www.yahoo.com/news/bernie-sanders-says-doesnt-intend-195113050.html

Finally, he is dead and this is a death I will celebrate along with many other Americans and others around the world.  I was flipping through channels on day in the hospital and ran across this leftist on some news show saying how we shouldn't celebrate death of anybody, no matter what they did in their lives.  Then you have the Washington Post that celebrates the man by putting as the headline something to the effect that he was a respected Islamic scholar.  Make no mistake about it, there are Americans in this country hoping for the downfall of our nation by supporting our enemies.  That is because you have people believing that al-Baghdadi was just misunderstood and only needed to be talked to.  Bullshit, someone like that only deserves a knife in his throat because he is too good for a bullet.  It makes me sick that there are Americans that are on this guys side.  The world is a better place now that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is gone from it.  Even though I know that there will be someone to step up into his place in the pekking order, at least this one was taken care of.  Plus, they didn't say things like that when bin Laden was killed and dumped to sea.  It is only because of the president that they are acting this way, at least I hope that is the reason.  Like I said before, if President Donald Trump had the cure for cancer in his hand then democrats would still hate him for some reason.  Here is an article that shows the timeline of the raid; https://apnews.com/89e8716887514b95af5fea38d604ee30

Well, that's all for me tonight.  I hope that all of you have a great day or night, take care!
