Job Hunting, Looking Ahead, Clarify From Yesterday

Hey all, hope your Thursday is going great!  My day has been good, did not do a lot because I didn't want to be too far from a bathroom.  That's what happens with me, I do not get much of a heads up when I am ready to go potty.  Plus, didn't really have anything to do today.  Tomorrow I get my check from disability so I have to go get a money order to pay rent and do my grocery shopping.  I am going to try to by more so I don't have to go back to the store as often, I even have a list made and all that.  One thing I did today was help my friend look for a job online.  Because a lot of places do not even put up a help wanted sign anymore, they just post it up online.  Found a few good leads so hopefully something works out for her.  I also looked for part time jobs, give me more of a purpose and something good to do, and make some extra money, which is always nice.  So, let me go on and get to it!

I do not consider myself a futurist but I do look towards the future.  Kind of like thinking, why haven't they invented something or made improvements on something else.  Technology is moving very fast for everyone but why have they not discovered a way to make medicine that targets that specific ailment.  Not sure why something like that has come along, it's 2018 and why are we still dealing with crazy side effects like heart stoppage or death, crazy.  Or something more simple, that has been invented now but should have been an afterthought years ago, a backpack with a hoodie.  Easy way to stay dry while walking to or from school.  Even the college kids would like this.  Also, I do have a webpage that goes with this at the end of course.  I found it pretty fun and made me think, why did I not think of that, I could have been a millionaire.  Oh well.  But it is fun to think about, remember those old magazines that tried to predict the future, but now we look back and laugh at what they thought we would be doing in the year 2000 AD?  Probably not, but I do, they were pretty hilarious as the people at the turn of the 20th century thought we would all be flying around in personal flying machines, had houses that to clean required just hosing everything down.  Too bad it didn't turn out quite that glamorous but I think we are doing alright.  One thing I cannot believe that has not been improved upon or another invention was not made; the internal combustion engine, we have been using basically the same blueprint since 1895, why has this not been upgraded or made better yet?  There are all kinds of mysteries out there, hopefully somebody comes up with more targeted meds, that would help people out immensly.  But, as the old saying goes, it doesn't pay to eradicate a disease, it pays to keep treating that disease.  That is why I think there has not been any huge breakthrough in cancer research for a long time.  So, here is that page; https://brightside.me/creativity-design/26-products-that-should-have-been-invented-long-ago-425460/

So, to clarify something I wrote about yesterday, Mr. DeSantis was not calling Mr. Gillum a monkey, he was talking more about his ideology of socialism.  DeSantis is a republican and Gillum is a democrat who leans more towards socialism.  Unlike a lot of these young people flocking to socialism, I actually know what it is and what it stands for.  That system has failed at every attempt in any country it was tried in.  Either the country went into economic decline quick or political instability.  And if anyone wants to debate me on the merits of socialism and what it is about, then I will but I ask that you have a good understanding of what you are debating, otherwise I will decline the request.

Well, that is it for me tonight.  I really hope all of you have a wonderful day or night, take care!
