Eclipse, Boring Day Again, Alternate History
Hey all, I am back for tonight. So, I hope you all are doing great today, I am not doing too bad. It was a big day today, the total solar eclipse was extremely view able in my area of Columbia Missouri and there was said to be up to 100,000 more people in town. This area was one of the best to see the totality, or when the moon completely covers the sun, plus it occurred for the longest amount of time as pretty much anywhere in America for a total of 2 and a half minutes. That is actually a pretty long time when all you are doing is staring up at the sun, with approved glasses of course. It was such a beautiful site and so surreal when the moon completely covered the sun, here it is just 1:14 and the sun is blocked out so it is really dark out. For about an hour before I noticed that there were not any birds flying about or making any noise, it was totally still and peaceful, and I really liked that. Besides that today was pretty boring and normal for me. I did get out to get some meds and was not transferring as well as I did on Saturday so I decided not to go mail off a package of a POP! figure I sold on eBay. My pain today has been at a solid 9.5.
I really do not have much to talk about today, kinda boring and did not learn a whole lot today, which is a little slow for me. I usually like to learn all I can everyday and that can sometimes be pretty exhausting. I did watch some videos on alternate history today because that is a fascinating type of fiction and I might write some short novels dealing with alternate history. Not the boring usual stuff like, what if the South won the Civil War or what if the Nazis won WWII. I'm going to try to delve into more obscure parts of history. I figured with my brain always thinking about history that this would be a good next step after writing the autobiography. In that book I am now in the hospital over by Kansas City called Select where they ween people off of the ventilator. I am getting ready to talk about what happened during my stay and some of the more funny times. I mean, I was completely paralyzed and could not speak so it was funny looking back on it. Of course at the time it was very serious and not too fun at all. But like I have always said, if you are in a shitty situations like I have been all my life then you have to laugh at things, even yourself, or your life will be very boring and probably not last as long, you surely will not have as much fun.
